keep dreaming and one day you wake up and if you dont have paypal you dont eat.

That’s a ridiculous claim to make. What is your proof of this? There isn’t any; you’re just over-exacerbating the situation. There is no way in the world paypal will take over banks/schools or medical institutions, and even if Ebay/Paypal were inplemented in these services, it most definitely would not be compulsary.

Have you regularily sold things on ebay?

Jenfucius October 20, 2009 at 10:30 pm

What customer service?

Jenfucius October 20, 2009 at 10:42 pm

It also depends on what you buy. Some items are notorious for being fakes.

ebay and paypal are too big, they need to be broke up. anti-trust laws, they will take over the nation. then oneday if you dont have paypal you cannot buy food to eat or use a bank? or go to school? or pay tuition? or even see a doctor if you dont have paypal?: this is satanic and evil

ebay are nuts!
dictating that I have to give free postage
and use paypal only as the method
payment. WTF?

samuel199166 October 21, 2009 at 12:07 am

I think this is just one odd example, I have had bought countless items off ebay, and whenever there’s problem, Paypal always sloves it…

livnastro October 21, 2009 at 12:28 am

Ebay requires a little common sense, something unfortunately alot of people lack. I have bought and sold hundreds of items on Ebay using PayPal and never had a single problem.

Ebay is a device used for setting up people who want to sell something to someone who wants to buy it with a certain price. Ebay doing anything about deadbeats is more than anyone can ask, because its entirely the deadbeats that do this, not ebay.

No! Go to Ebid(dot)net. FEELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a laptop from a private seller on ebay. When I got it I discovered that there were problems with it. This is not ebay’s fault. The seller was a dishonest liar.

eBay sucks.
it is full of swindlers.
Almost 98% on electronics devices you buy on eBay are refurbished

Pambie36 October 21, 2009 at 3:07 am

Absolutely crooked company. I have sold on eBay since 2003 and seen the company steal from its own sellers and basically spit in the faces of their sellers.

barflairer October 21, 2009 at 3:35 am

This is the best thing Today Tonight has ever done. Burn ebay and paypal. Bunch of crooks run the company. I hope one day the executives all get thrown into jail.

KaisyuVadin October 21, 2009 at 4:11 am

Wow was that 76% to 4% ???

frankooga October 21, 2009 at 4:40 am

FUCK Ebay , Some buyer made a false claim of not receiving his item-WELL guess wht , i knw that was gonna happen ,i have already taken the money of my acccount ;-) hahahah

WolfDOuka October 21, 2009 at 5:29 am

If Ebay doesnt clean up their act, then Ebay will become nothing, because nobody would want to go on it or buy from it, what ebay is doing is bad business.

ruinawish October 21, 2009 at 6:14 am

For the unaware, Today Tonight is made for bogans and uneducated folk in Australia. It’s great that someone has uploaded this to share it with the same types of people worldwide!

Ebay is scum – this jerk advises paypal. He works for ebay and paypal is an Ebay company. What a slimeball!! They stole/usurped several thousand pounds of my money and I have never ever had a definitive answer as to why. They are an advert for America worldwide – say no more!

carboxx October 21, 2009 at 7:18 am

I didnt say that they were safe at all, no need to get personal either mate, just expressing an opinion

SpectralMyst October 21, 2009 at 7:21 am

So you’re supporting the point of view that eBay & Paypal are 100% easy & safe to use?

Thier customer service is full of as much BS as you obviously are

carboxx October 21, 2009 at 7:26 am

fucking most bs show, seriously.
today tonight and aca are full of shit
trying to influence australias general public to hate whatever they do a report on

alanheath October 21, 2009 at 8:07 am

In fairness, the drop in growth shown at the beginning of the film is still growth but not so fast as at the beginning which is normal in most businesses, especially very successful ones.

However Paypal is a complete con. With ebay insisting on paypal then there is nothing that can be done.

I sent the money immediately, paypal kept it (to investigate), I spent a great deal of money ringing up various countries, using three different languages.

Dont bother with ebay!!
