I’ve used http://www.oztion.com.au in the past, but I think they no longer accept sellers from outside australia

I have had good luck with Craigslist. Maybe it is just the location?
Check Yahoo groups for keywords like cheapcycle. I run my local group and also belong to a few others. I have always had no problems selling stuff on the groups.

I am developing an auction web site.
I plan on having small monthly fees rather than huge insertion and final value fees. It will only be $7.99 a month.
We plan to promote using an affiliate program. If person A gets people signed up he will get 50% of the monthly fee person B pays, as long as that person is enrolled.
We will start by giving a $100 credit for extras. Our extras are very reasonable, but we can’t offer them for free becuase there would not be an advantage if EVERYONE chose home page feature.
I am so sick of the auction site I deal with, (you know) that I need to change asap. Then I figured that If I’m sick of it that others probably are too. So why not make a site everyone can use, not just me.
Its a little ways off, but I’ll let you know when it’s up.
good luck
